IRON MAIDEN - världens främsta band inom Heavy Metal - headlinar COPENHELL 2014.

Bandet har länge legat överst på önskelistan för festivalarrangören och idag blev det klart! COPENHELL är extremt stolta att presentera IRON MAIDEN som headline på den enda äkta Metal-festivalen i Danmark 2014. Spelningen är den enda som bandet gör i Danmark nästa år. Konserten kommer att vara på Refshale-ön i Köpenhamn i juni och det kommer att bli en grym upplevelse för alla fans när Iron Maiden lägger Köpenhamn för sina fötter.   

Biljetterna till festivalen släpps den 13 december. 

Den extremt framgångsrika turnén “Maiden England World Tour” har tagit sitt namn från den klassiska liveupptagningen från Birmingham 1988 och till grund för konserten är fansens alla favoritlåtar från 1980-talet, varav många nu framförs för sista gången.

Iron Maidens manager Rod Smallwood hälsar: 

“As all our fans know, Maiden England is Part 3 in the History Trilogy of the 1980s video/DVD releases so this is likely to be the last time we will tour with a set list based on the ‘80s, and therefore the last time fans will EVER hear some of these songs played live.

With this in mind, for the 2014 dates we plan to change the set list around a little, to make it more equally representative of the whole of the ‘80s period covered by those three DVDs – Early Days, Live After Death and of course Maiden England, along with one notable exception from the 90’s, the fans will know which song I’m talking about!   Thanks to modern technology, we’ve been able to update and improve on the original 1988 production for Maiden England. We will be bringing with us a huge new lightshow, stage set, various incarnations of Eddie, plenty of pyro and all kinds of other exciting stuff for the fans”. 

När “Maiden England Tour” är avslutad kommer Iron Maiden att ha spelat inför 2 miljoner fans på 102 konserter i 32 länder sedan premiären i USA juni 2012. 

IRON MAIDENs spelning på COPENHELL 2014 är utan tvekan höjdpunkten i 5-årsjubileet av festivalen.

Jeppe Nissen, ansvarig för COPENHELL 2014 säger: 

"With the confirmation of Iron Maiden, our greatest wish as a metal festival has come true. We are so very proud to be able to present one of the biggest and most influential bands in COPENHELL’s metal history. To be able to give Denmark the biggest and greatest metal festival ever, we have decided to move our 3-day festival one day ahead". 

COPENHELL 2014 tidigareläggs en dag och kommer att starta onsdag den 11 juni och pågå fram till och med fredag den 13 juni.
